We are seeking a talented Team Manager / Scrum Master who will be responsible for providing support in functional areas such as project management, team leading, and client communication. This role is responsible for Scrum activities in several teams and supports the client to solve complex problems corresponding to technical solutions in different projects.

Background of Business:  the project is a fully integrated racing and gaming technology company providing solutions that drive pari-mutuel and fixed odds wagering around the globe.  Leading technology and services provider to the North American pari-mutuel wagering market, with services that include the horse racing industry’s most comprehensive and user-friendly wagering website/platform allowing customers to wager from a computer, phone, or mobile device.  Ongoing commitment to the growth and success of the global racing industry through B2C and B2B product innovation, extensive professional services offerings, the broadest integration of hosts for commingled pari-mutuel and fixed odds and the continued evolution of the preeminent totalizator systems in the world.

Salary:

  • B2B: 12 000 – 20 000 zl netto.

Requirements:

  • Lead and facilitate Scrum activities for teams working on various projects.
  • Support the effective management of the project development process, priorities, and deliverables.
  • Communicate baseline schedule and key milestones to each stakeholder, clarify their roles and responsibilities, and send timely reminders to ensure project progress per the baseline schedule.
  • Identify risks and allocate responsibilities to stakeholders.
  • Produce and deliver reports and documentation on the project stage and progress to project stakeholders and the internal management team.
  • Manage assigned customer portfolios closely and build long-term relationships.
  • Proactively drive customer retention and expansion initiatives.
  • English: speaking from C1.

Experience & Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Solid team management experience, at least five (5) years of experience in software development.
  • Engineering experience in software development is a huge advantage.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal and team leadership skills.
  • Effective, consistent, and impeccable communication (verbal and written).
  • Ability to work productively in an Agile development process.
  • Must be able to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment including stressful situations.
  • Individuals must be willing to learn about and understand ‘niche’ industry.
  • Demonstrates and maintains flexibility and adapts to changes within the industry and company.
