Requirements:
- 2+ years experience with software support/development.
- Advanced knowledge in Oracle Database.
- Experience with high performing systems.
- Experience in routine database activities automation with shell scripts, crontab, etc.
- Ability to proactively monitor database for performance and availability, and to support DB environments.
- Ability to develop, test and implement backup and recovery strategies for databases.
- Experience in Linux administration.
- To be abreast with latest trends in Database technology, new versions and new features, and proactively propose implementation of new features that will bring performance improvements or productivity gains.
- Fluent spoken & written English.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving attitude.
- Have understanding of different levels of testing and different testing types.
- Familiar with Git and Agile frameworks, and technical practices.
Will be a plus:
- Understanding of payment card business.
- Experience in Oracle WebLogic Server configuration and support.
- Previous experience in AWR Database performance optimization using Diagnostics and Tuning option (AWR analysis).
- Experience in Python.
- Experience in testing automation.
- Have understanding of CI (continuous integration).
