We are looking for a skilled Database Administrator to join development team.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator.
  • Hands-on experience in database architecture design.
  • Strong expertise in one or more RDBMS: MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL.
  • Proven experience in schema design and data storage strategies and partitioning and indexing strategies.
  • Experience working with high-load and highly available systems.
  • Strong performance tuning skills, execution plan analysis, query optimization, handling locks and concurrency.
  • Experience with replication, clustering, and backup/recovery strategies.
  • Experience with data migration and schema refactoring.
  • Designing scalable systems (vertical and horizontal scaling).
  • Selecting appropriate database technologies based on business needs.
  • Experience with distributed systems.
  • Participating in architecture reviews and technical decision-making.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS).
  • English level: at least B2 or above.

  • Database design/development.
  • Providing database architectural solutions.
  • Data warehousing tasks.
  • Monitor DB performance.
  • System performance and optimization tuning.
  • Good understanding of query execution plans.
  • Resolving complex database issues.
  • Manage database backup/restore. 
  • Work with other engineers to troubleshoot, repair and performance tune databases.
